FUNDS TO SUPPORT SERVICES TO THOSE WHO ARE VISUALLY IMPAIRED ARE RAISED THROUGH MEMORIAL CARDS AND FUNDRAISING EVENTS HELD THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, THE HIGHLIGHT OF WHICH IS THE ANNUAL MEDALLION BALL. THE MEDALLION BALL RECOGNIZES YOUNG WOMEN WHO HAVE DEDICATED A REQUIRED NUMBER OF HOURS TO VOLUNTEER SERVICE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY. THE AUXILIARY'S VISION IS TO INSTILL THE IMPORTANCE OF SERVICE TO OTHERS IN SUCH YOUNG WOMEN AND TO RECOGNIZE THEM FOR THEIR EFFORTS. ADDITIONALLY, ST. LUCY'S AUXILIARY CONTINUES TO DONATE A PORTION OF FUNDS RAISED TO SUPPORT THE VISUALLY IMPAIRED.
