THE CLEARFIELD AREA UNITED WAY MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN PEOPLE'S LIVES, HELPING CHILDREN SUCCEED AND SUPPORTING FAMILIES BY BRINGING PEOPLE AND RESOURCES TOGETHER TO FIND CREATIVE SOLUTIONS TO COMMUNITY NEEDS.

THE CLEARFIELD AREA UNITED WAY WORKS TO BUILD BETTER COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE CENTRAL, EASTERN, AND SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF CLEARFIELD COUNTY WHICH THEY SERVE. MAKING A POSITIVE IMPACT IN THE LIVES OF LOCAL RESIDENTS IS OUR GOAL AND PARTNERING WITH LOCAL MEMBER AGENCIES IS OUR OBJECTIVE.AN ANNUAL FUND RAISING EFFORT RAISES DOLLARS FOR MEMBER AGENCIES WHICH HELP PEOPLE OF ALL AGES IN OUR SURROUNDING AREA THRIVE AND GROW. THEY ALSO CONDUCT A JEANS FOR TEENS PROGRAM, HELPING CURB PEER PRESSURE AND ENHANCING SELF-ESTEEM. THIS PROGRAM WORKS WITH A COUNTY AGENCY IDENTIFYING AT-RISK TEENAGERS IN SCHOOL AND HELPS WITH THE PURCHASE OF SEVERAL NEW OUTFITS AT LOCAL RETAILERS. THIS PARTNERSHIP WILL CONTINUE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. CLEARFIELD AREA UNITED WAY CONNECTS PEOPLE TO VOLUNTEER SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY. WE ALSO WORK DAILY WITH INFORMATION AND REFERRAL TO INDIVIDUALS FROM WITHIN THE STATE AS WELL AS OUT OF STATE.
