TOBACCO CONTROL - PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE TOBACCO CONTROL PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE MID-ATLANTIC REGION. THIS INCLUDES WORKING WITH YOUTH TOBACCO CONTROL MOVEMENTS, AS WELL AS OFFERING PREVENTION ORIENTED PROGRAMS. PROVIDE CESSATION OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE (TEENS AND ADULTS)SEEKING TO QUIT. ADVOCATE FOR TOBACCO CONTROL MEASURES SUCH AS SMOKE FREE INDOOR AIR, INCREASED EXCISE TAXES AND PREVENTION AND CESSATION DOLLARS. THESE MEASURES WILL ENCOURAGE YOUNG PEOPLE NEVER TO START, PROVIDE MOTIVATION TO THOSE WHO WANT TO QUIT AND PROVIDE SMOKE FREE ENVIRONMENTS FOR ALL.
