AN ANNUAL THREE-DAY FESTIVAL COMMEMORATING A HISTORICAL EVENT. THIS EVENT OCCURRED ON OCTOBER 12, 1758 DURING THE FRENCH AND INDIAN WAR WHEN FRENCH AND INDIAN FORCES ATTACKED FORT LIGONIER IN LIGONIER, PENNSYLVANIA, WHERE ENGLISH FORCES WERE RESIDING. THE ENGLISH FORCES REPELLED THE ATTACKERS. THE FESTIVAL INCLUDES A PARADE, ENTERTAINMENT, FOOD BOOTHS AND CRAFT BOOTHS.
