THE FIRE COMPANY RESPONDED TO 217 ALARMS IN 2021. THE NUMBER OF ALARMS HAS STEADILY INCREASED EACH YEAR AS THE FIRE COMPANY RESPONDED TO 211 ALARMS IN 2020, 202 ALARMS IN 2019, 191 ALARMS IN 2018, AND 171 ALARMS IN 2017. IN ADDITION, SEVERAL FIRE PREVENTION PROGRAMS AND PUBLIC SERVICE EVENTS WERE HELD IN THE COMMUNITY DURING THE YEAR. ALL MEMBERS OF THE FIRE COMPANY VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME AND EFFORTS TO: RESPOND TO ALARMS; ATTEND TRAINING SESSIONS AND MEETINGS; MAINTAIN THE FIREFIGHTING EQUIPMENT, VEHICLES, BUILDING AND GROUNDS; ASSIST WITH VARIOUS FUNDRAISING EVENTS HELD TO FINANCIALLY SUPPORT THE THE OPERATIONS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
