THE WESTMORELAND COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE (WCCC) EDUCATION FOUNDATION INC., ASSISTS WESTMORELAND COUMMUNITY COLLEGE AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF PUBLIC HIGHER EDUCATION BY BROADENING THE BASE OF SUPPORT, CREATING AWARENESS AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE COLLEGE AND STRONGLY EMPHASIZING COMMUNICATIONS WITH THE PRIVATE DONORS AND PUBLIC AGENCIES. THE FOUNDATION UTILIZES "FRIEND RAISING," A WAY TO ESTABLISH SUSTAINABLE RELATIONSHIPS WITH PERSONS, FOUNDATIONS AND CORPORATIONS TO CREATE A WIDE VARIETY OF SUPPORT FOR THE COLLEGE.
