THE ASSOCIATION HOSTS AN ANNUAL YOUTH DAY PROGRAM THAT DRAWS BETWEEN 50-100 YOUTHS. THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES THE YOUTHS WITH TRAINING ON SAFETY AND THE PROPER USE OF VARIOUS FIREARMS, AND IS FOLLOWED BY ACTUAL RANGE USE. AFTER THE PROGRAM IS COMPLETED THE YOUTHS ARE GIVEN HATS,T-SHIRTS,PRIZES AND A FULL MEAL. THIS PROGRAM IS FREE TO THE YOUTHS THAT PARTICIPATE.
FOR APPROXIMATELY TEN YEARS,FOUR TIMES A YEAR,THE ASSOCIATION HOSTS WAR VETERANS WHO ARE RESIDENTS OF THE VA HOSPITAL IN ASPINWALL, PA. THE VETERANS ARE PROVIDED ONE-ON-ONE ASSISTANCE TO PRACTICE SHOOTING WITH A VARIETY OF FIREARMS. AFTER THE PROGRAM, THE VETERANS ARE TREATED TO A FULL LUNCH WITH THE ASSOCIATION MEMBERS. THIS PROGRAM IS FREE TO THE VETERANS THAT PARTICIPATE.
