JUBILEE ASSOCIATION, INC. (JUBILEE) WAS ESTABLISHED AS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION IN FEBRUARY 1981 AND IS FUNDED PRIMARILY THROUGH PUBLIC CONTRIBUTIONS. THE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM OF HUMAN SERVICES ADDRESSING THE NEEDS OF THE HOMELESS, DISADVANTAGED, AND MARGINALIZED PEOPLE OF PITTSBURGH IN A WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE THAT EXTENDS DIGNITY AND RESPECT TO EVERY GUEST. ITS PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY IS THE "JUBILEE SOUP KITCHEN," WHICH PROVIDES MEALS AND OTHER FOOD, CLOTHING, PERSONAL HYGIENE ITEMS TO NEEDY INDIVIDUALS 365 DAYS A YEAR.
