CHILDREN'S PROGRAM-TO ENCOURAGE CHILDREN TO READ. THIS IS DONE BY HAVING A PERSON ON STAFF THAT SPECIALIZES IN HOW TO MAKE CHILDREN FEEL EXCITED ABOUT READING. THE RESPONSE FROM OUR AREA HAS BEEN OVERWHELMING. THE CHILDREN THAT COME TO THE PROGRAM END UP BECOMING REGULAR VISITORS TO THE LIBRARY AND CHECKING OUT MORE AND MORE BOOKS TO READ.
GENERAL LIBRARY SERVICES-WE PROVIDE A LIBRARY THAT IS PART OF THE BUTLER COUNTY FEDERATED LIBRARY SYSTEM AND AS SUCH WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER MATERIALS FROM VARIOUS LIBRARIES NOT JUST THE RESOURCES WE HAVE AT OUR LOCATION. OUR LOCATION IS OPEN 6 DAYS A WEEK TO THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE.
