INDUSTRY ADVANCEMENT: DELAWARE CONTRACTORS ASSOCIATION (DCA) KEEPS IT MEMBERS INFORMED OF IMPORTANT INDUSTRY CONCERNS AND LEGISLATIVE DECISIONS. INFORMATIONAL BULLETINS ARE PERIODICALLY PUBLISHED, EITHER VIA THE DCA NEWS, E-DCA.ORG OR SPECIAL MEMORANDA, DEALING WITH ACTIVITIES IN THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND OTHER LEVELS OF FEDERAL, STATE, COUNTY AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT. WITH GOVERNMENT BECOMING MORE AND MORE A PART OF CONTRACTORS' LIVES, ON PRIVATE AS WELL AS PUBLIC JOBS, DCA MAINTAINS A STRONG LIAISON WITH APPROPRIATE REGULATORY AGENCIES.
EDUCATION AND TRAINING: NUMEROUS MANAGEMENT SEMINARS, WORKSHOPS, VISUAL AIDS AND MANUALS ARE REGULARLY PRESENTED TO BENEFIT DCA MEMBERS AND THEIR EMPLOYEES. THE PLANS ROOM IS AVAILABLE TO ALL MEMBERS SEVEN DAYS A WEEK, 24 HOURS A DAY. PLANS AND SPECS FOR ALL CURRENT PUBLIC WORKS AND MANY PRIVATE PROJECTS ARE MAINTAINED THERE ON A TIMELY BASIS.
