THE CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY EVENING OF EXCELLENCE IS ABOUT UNITING THE FIRMS AND INDIVIDUALS THAT ARE TRANSFORMING THE WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA REGION. LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE, THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY WILL BE RELIED UPON FOR ITS COMMITMENT OF EXCELLENCE TO EACH AND EVERY PROJECT BUILT. THIS COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE WAS ON DISPLAY DURING THIS EVENT AS THE WINNING PROJECTS IN THE MBA'S 2021 BUILDING EXCELLENCE AWARDS WERE HONORED. MBA CONTINUES TO PROMOTE AND ADVANCE THE BUILDING CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY IN WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA BY IMPROVING RELATIONS BETWEEN OWNERS, PUBLIC BODIES, ARCHITECTS, ENGINEERS AND CONTRACTORS. MBA SUPPORTS TRAINING PROGRAMS, LEGISLATION IMPACTING THE INDUSTRY AND PROVIDES MEMBERS AND THE GENERAL PUBLIC WITH INFORMATION ON CURRENT TRENDS AND INDUSTRY CONCERNS.MBA ADAPTED TO THE COVID-19 ENVIRONMENT BY VIRTUAL OR SOCIALLY DISTANCED PROGRAMMING. TRAININGS WERE HELD VIA FLASH WEBINARS WHILE MEETINGS WERE A COMBINATION OF VIRTUAL AND DISTANCED IN-PERSON MEETINGS. THE GOLF OUTING WAS STRETCHED OUT OVER SIX DAYS, ALLOWING FOR SMALLER GROUPS OF INDIVIDUALS TO PARTICIPATE.
