THE LIBRARY WAS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC 45 HOURS EACH WEEK AND WAS THE PLACE TO GO FOR 58,237 CITIZENS WHO VISITED OUR LIBRARY IN PERSON AND 66,939 WHO VISITED US ONLINE. THE LIBRARY PROVIDED ACCESS TO 134,179 ITEMS IN ITS COLLECTION, INCLUDING IN-HOUSE AND OUTREACH COLLECTIONS, FOR USE BY THE PUBLIC AT NO CHARGE. THESE ITEMS WERE BORROWED 256,560 TIMES. THE LIBRARY'S PUBLIC INTERNET ACCESS COMPUTERS AND PUBLIC WI-FI WAS USED 33,149 TIMES; THE ONLINE DATABASE WAS ACCESSED 46,809 TIMES; AND 3,172 REFERENCE QUESTIONS WERE ANSWERED.THE LIBRARY OFFERED 157 IN PERSON ADULT AND CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS IN WHICH 2,877 CITIZENS ATTENDED. THE LIBRARY OFFERED 228 VIRTUAL PROGRAMS THAT REACHED 125,928 PEOPLE.CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O.AS THE NORTH CENTRAL LIBRARY DISTRICT CENTER, THE JAMES V.
