THE ORGANIZATIONS EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE MENTAL AND MORAL SUPPORT TO MEMBERS OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT COMMUNITY AND TO PROMOTE AWARENESS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT PERSONNELS DESIRE TO SERVE THE PUBLIC.

THE PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES NOT COMPRISED OF GRANTS AND ALLOCATIONS WERE PRIMARILY INCURRED TO PROVIDE A FACILITY IN WHICH TO CONDUCT LODGE ACTIVITIES AND BUSINESS MEETINGS, ATTEND EXTERNAL CONFERENCES, AND TO COVER LEGAL DEFENCE FUND DUES.


THE ORGANIZATIONS SHOP WITH A COP IS AN ANNUAL EVENT IN WHICH LODGE MEMBERS ACCOMPANY LOCAL CHILDREN ON A CHRISTMAS SHOPPING EXCURSION AT ONE OR MORE RETAILERS. ALL CLOTHING, TOYS, AND FOOD PURCHASES ARE PAID WITH FUNDS DERIVED FROM THE ORGANIZATIONS FUND RAISING EFFORTS EARLIER IN THE YEAR. THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IS STRICTLY DETERMINED BY THE AMOUNT OF FUNDS AVAILABLE. THERE WERE 108 CHILDREN WHO BENEFITED FROM THE PROGRAM.
