SHERRILL FIRE PROTECTION PROVIDES A SAFE WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PROPER EQUIPMENT TO ENABLE THE VOLUNTEER FIREMEN TO PERFORM THEIR DUTIES AS FIRE, EMS, AND RESCUE PERSONNEL. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FUNDS FOR EQUIPMENT, TRAINING AND OPERATING EXPENSES. THE BOARD REVIEWS EQUIPMENT NEEDS WITH THE FIRE CHIEF TO ENSURE THE EQUIPMENT IS UPDATED AND MEETS THE STANDARDS OF THE NATIONAL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION.FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 2021, SHERRILL FIRE PROTECTION ASSOCIATION RESPONDED TO APPROXIMATELY 239 CALLS AND HAD 2,438 VOLUNTEER HOURS INVESTED IN THOSE CALLS.
