Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
PROVIDED FIRE PROTECTION, RESCUE DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND EMERGENCY SERVICES. THEIR PRIMARY AREA OF SERVICE IS THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA HOWEVER OTHER NEARBY CITIES ARE ALSO SERVED THROUGH A MUTUAL AID PACT.THE FIRE DEPARTMENT PROVIDED TRAINING AND DRILL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ITS MEMBERS BOTH INTERNALLY AND THROUGH THE MN STATE FIRE SCHOOL AND AREA TECHNICAL COLLEGES. THEY HELD FIRE SAFETY AND PREVENTION CLASSES AT LOCAL SCHOOLS. AN ANNUAL AWARDS BANQUET AND PICNIC ARE HELD TO RECOGNIZE AND CELEBRATE THE DEPARTMENT AND VOLUNTEER ACCOMPLISHMENTS.
