KOINONIA HOMES IS A 501 C (3) ORGANIZATION THAT WAS FOUNDED IN 1974 BY CONCERNED CITIZENS AND COMMUNITY LEADERS WHO WERE DEVOTED TO THE NEEDS OF THOSE WITH DISABILITIES. FOR OVER FORTY YEARS, KOINONIA HAS REMAINED TRUE TO ITS MISSION OF PROVIDING PERSON-CENTERED CARE. TODAY, KOINONIA SERVES OVER 500 PEOPLE PER YEAR, THROUGH THE EFFORTS AND DEDICATION OF A STAFF OF MORE THAN 550. AS A RESULT OF ITS LONG-STANDING COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE IN THIS FIELD, KOINONIA IS AN INDUSTRY LEADER IN GREATER CLEVELAND AND HAS RECEIVED MANY AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS FOR ITS ACHIEVEMENTS.
