CONCERT PERFORMANCES: THIS YEAR BEGAN WITH A PERFORMANCE OF CARMINA BURANA IN A COLLABORATION WITH THE FRIENDS OF THE KOTZSCHMAR ORGAN; STUDENTS FROM SEVERAL MAINE HIGH SCHOOLS JOINED US IN THIS PERFORMANCE IN MERRILL AUDITORIUM, AND WE HOPE THIS EXPERIENCE WILL INSPIRE THEM TO CONTINUE SINGING AS ADULTS. WE THEN SANG TWO PERFORMANCES OF THE VERDI REQUIEM IN MERRILL AUDITORIUM AS GUEST ARTIST OF THE PORTLAND SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA IN AN INSPIRING COLLABORATION WITH THE VIOLINS OF HOPE, FEATURING INSTRUMENTS OWNED BY VICTIMS OF THE HOLOCAUST. WE SANG FOUR PERFORMANCES OF OUR POPULAR CHRISTMAS AT THE CATHEDRAL CONCERT AND TWO SELLOUT PERFORMANCES OF OUR AN EPIPHANY CELEBRATION CONCERT, AND FINISHED THE YEAR WITH OUR SPRING CONCERT, IN PRAISE OF MUSIC. WE REACHED OVER 5,500 PATRONS IN OUR LIVE PERFORMANCES, AND OVER 1,500 MORE WATCHED ONLINE.
