Part 3
DURING THIS SECOND YEAR LIMITED BY THE CHALLENGES OF COVID, WE WERE ABLE TO KEEP OUR COMMUNITY SINGING. WE EXPERIMENTED WITH A VARIETY OF MODALITIES AND ULTIMATELY WERE ABLE TO COMBINE VIRTUAL REHEARSALS, ON-LINE AIDS, AND OUTDOOR GATHERINGS TO PRODUCE TWO FULL CONCERTS. FALL SEMESTER REQUIRED OUTDOOR REHEARSALS WITH THAN OUTSIDE PERFORMANCE AT THE CAMDEN AMPHITHEATRE IN LATE OCTOBER. OUR WINTER SEMESTER CULMINATED IN A INDOOR PERFORMANCE OF BRAHMS GERMAN REQUIEM, COMPLETE WITH ORCHESTRA AND SOLD-OUT AUDIENCE, WITH BOTH REHEARSALS AND PERFORMANCE HELD AT WATTS HALL IN THOMASTON. OTHER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDED A HOLIDAY MESSIAH SING FOR THE COMMUNITY.
