FALL SEMESTER PRODUCED CULMINATED IN A PERFORMANCE OF VIVALDI'S GLORIA, ALONG WITH "WREATHE THE HOLLY, TWINE THE BAY" BY DELMAR SMALL, A MAINE COMPOSER, AND THE WORLD PREMIER OF "TO MAINE WITH LOVE", BY A LOCAL COMPOSER, MARIANNA FILIPPI. THIS WAS A COMMISSIONED PIECE WRITTEN FOR CHOIR AND ACCORDION -- AND WAS PRESENTED WITH A VIDEO FEATURING THE COASTAL WATERS AND FORESTS OF OUR HOME. JOINING US FOR THIS CONCERT, ALSO WITH INSPIRING VIDEO, WAS THE HALCYON STRING QUARTET. SPRING SEMESTER FEATURED BRAHMS REQUIEM, PERFORMED WITH THE THE MOZART MENTORS ORCHESTRA AND PROFESSIONAL SOLOISTS, PERFORMED TO SOLD OUT AUDIENCES. OTHER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDED A HOLIDAY MESSIAH SING FOR THE COMMUNITY.
