SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERANS FAMILIES WE PROVIDE GRANTS TO SELECTED GRANTEES WHO WILL COORDINATE OR PROVIDE SUPPORTIVE SERVICES TO VERY LOW INCOME VETERAN FAMILIES WHO ARE RESIDING IN PERMANENT HOUSING, ARE HOMELESS AND SCHEDULED TO BECOME RESIDENTS OF PERMANENT HOUSING, OR ARE SEEKING OTHER HOUSING THAT IS RESPONSIVE TO THE LOWINCOME VETERAN FAMILYS NEEDS AND PREFERENCES.
CONTINUUM OF CARE RENTAL ASSISTANCE WE RECEIVE GOVERNMENT FUNDING WHICH WE UTILIZE TO PAY RENT ON BEHALF OF OUR CLIENTS FOR APARTMENTS AND HOMES AS A PART OF OUR PERMANENT HOUSING PROGRAM TO APPROXIMATELY 100 CLIENTS.
SHELTER SERVICES WE OWN AND RENT PERMANENT HOUSING APARTMENTS TO CERTAIN CLIENTS WHO QUALIFY UNDER FEDERAL GOVERNMENT PROGRAMS FOR RENTAL ASSISTANCE, BECAUSE THEY ARE PERMANENTLY DISABLED.
SINGLE ROOM OCCUPANCY WE OWN AND LEASE 10 PERMANENT SINGLE ROOM HOUSING UNITS TO CLIENTS WHO DESIRE TO SHARE PERMANENT HOUSING IN A GROUP ENVIRONMENT. OUTREACH SERVICES WE PROVIDE COUNSELING AND OTHER SERVICES TO MANY OF OUR CLIENTS WHO RESIDE IN PERMANENT HOUSING. MANY OF THESE CLIENTS HAVE PHYSICAL, MENTAL OR OTHER DISABILITIES. THIS COUNSELING HELPS ASSURE THESE CLIENTS CAN CONTINUE TO RESIDE IN PERMANENT HOUSING AND RECEIVE THE MEDICAL AND OTHER CARE THAT THEY NEED. PLASE APARTMENTS SERVING TEN PEOPLE IN ONE LOCATION. WE PROVIDE HOUSING IN THREE LOCATIONS OWNED BY PROJECT PLASE LOCATED IN BALTIMORE CITY. AT THESE SITES, WE ASSIST THE CLIENTS TO OBTAIN REHABILITATION, EMPLOYMENT, MEDICAL TREATMENT AND OTHER SERVICES TO OVERCOME THE REASONS FOR THEIR HOMELESSNESS, AND TO PREVENT ITS REOCCURANCE. FAMILY STABILITY WE PROVIDE SERVICES FOR CLIENTS TO HELP PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN FAMILY STABILITY. CELEBRATION HOUSING HOUSING SERVICES PROVIDED FOR CLIENTS THAT ARE VETERANS IN NEED OF OCCUPANCY SERVICES.
SUPPORTIVE SERVICES FOR VETERANS FAMILIES SSVF - PROGRAMS GOAL IS HOUSING STABILITY FOR VETERANS INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. FOR VERY LOW-INCOME VETERANS, SSVF PROVIDES CASE MANAGEMENT AND SUPPORTIVE SURVICES TO PREVENT THE IMMINENT LOSS OF A VETERANS HOME OR IDENTIY A NEW, MORE SUITABLE HOUSING SITUATION FOR THE INDVIDUAL AND HIS OR HER FAMILY OR TO RAPIDLY RE-HOUSE VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO ARE HOMELESS AND MIGHT REMAIN HOMELESS WITHOUT THIS ASSISTANCE. SSVF OFFERS ASSISTANCE WITH HOUSING, SECURITY, DEPOSITS, EVICTION PREVENTION, UTILITY PAYMENTS, TRANSPORTATION, CHILDCARE, EMPLOYMENT SERVICES, MOVING COSTS AND BEDDING. SSVF PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE INTENSIVE, SHORT-TERM CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO ASSIST WITH SECURING EMPLOYMENT, PERMANENT HOUSING, EVICTION PREVENTION, AND UTILITIES AS NEEDED.
CONTINUUM OF CARE RENTAL ASSISTANCE - MARKET-RATE HOUSING IS MADE AVAILABLE FOR HOMELESS CITIZENS INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES THROUGH SUBSIDIES AND SERVICES TO ASSURE HOUSING AND OTHER STABILITY.
