HUMANITIES MONTANA SERVES COMMUNITIES THROUGH STORIES AND CONVERSATION. WE OFFER EXPERIENCES THAT NURTURE IMAGINATION AND IDEAS BY SPEAKING TO MONTANANS' DIVERSE HISTORY, LITERATURE, AND PHILOSOPHY.

HUMANITIES MONTANA OFFERS PROGRAMS SUCH AS MONTANA CONVERSATIONS, SPEAKERS IN SCHOOLS, THE DEMOCRACY PROJECT, AND MONTANA CENTER FOR THE BOOK, REACHING 10,308 MONTANANS, INCLUDING YOUTH, STUDENT, AND ADULT AUDIENCES, WHO ATTENDED 479 HM PROGRAMS IN 2023. HUMANITIES MONTANA ALSO PROVIDES GRANTS TO SUPPORT PUBLIC HUMANITIES PROGRAMS, EXHIBITS, FILMS, AND RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS. IN 2023, HUMANITIES MONTANA AWARDED 45 GRANTS THROUGH FUNDING FROM THE NATIONAL ENDOWMENT FOR THE HUMANITIES (NEH) TO CULTURAL AND NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THROUGHOUT THE STATE.
