GRANTS AND COOPERATIVE AGREEMENTS: GRANT MONIES RECEIVED FROM THE UNITED STATES DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE AS BOTH AWARDEE AND SUB-AWARDEE TO PROVIDE TRAINING AND TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO STATES AND TERRITORIES IN RELATION TO STRATEGIC PLANNING AND EVIDENCE-BASED PRACTICES, GRANTS MANAGEMENT, JUSTICE INFORMATION SHARING INITIATIVES AND TO ASSIST TRIBAL AND STATE GOVERNMENTS WITH INTERGOVERNMENTAL COLLABORATION INITIATIVES. MEMBERSHIP: NCJA IS A NATIONAL MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE PRACTITIONERS IN LOCAL, STATE AND TRIBAL GOVERNMENTS AS WELL AS IN ACADEMIC STUDIES IN CRIMINAL JUSTICE.
ANNUAL MEETING: SPONSORED BY THE NATIONAL CRIMINAL JUSTICE ASSOCIATION (NCJA), THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNTY JUSTICE ASSOCIATION, THE ANNUAL FORUM ON CRIMINAL JUSTICE SHOWCASES PROGRAMS, RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGIES THAT HELP JUSTICE PRACTITIONERS AND DECISION MAKERS IN STATES, LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND TRIBAL NATIONS ADDRESS PRESSING PUBLIC SAFETY ISSUES.
