FARMING PROGRAM - DEMONSTRATION OF CROP HARVESTING. THANKS TO THE LEADERSHIP OF OUR FARMER AND GROUP OF DEDICATED ASSISTANTS THE FARM LOOKS ITS BEST. THE LAND AND ANIMALS ARE WELL CARED FOR. VISITORS ARE CONTINUALLY SURPRISED AT THE VARIETY AND NUMBER OF ANIMALS TO BE FOUND AT THE PLANTATION.
WEEKEND EVENTS - DEMONSTRATIONS OF COLONIAL CHORES SUCH AS SPINNING AND BLACKSMITHING. WE HAVE A GROUP OF HISTORIC INTERPRETERS WHO ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF MAKING EACH VISITOR'S EXPERIENCE SOMETHING TO REMEMBER.
EDUCATIONAL VISITORS MAY OBSERVE AND PARTICIPATE IN THE MAKING OF FARM TOOLS, CLOTHING, FURNITURE AND COLONIAL MEALS.
