HELEN WOODWARD ANIMAL CENTER OPERATES A NUMBER OF PROGRAMS DESIGNATED TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ON THE CARE AND TRAINING OF ANIMALS. IT OPERATES PET ADOPTION PROGRAMS AND HAS SEVERAL SCHOOL PROGRAMS FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG PEOPLE. THE CENTER OPERATES AN EQUINE VETERINARY HOSPITAL FOR CARE AND SURGERY OF HORSES AND OTHER LARGE ANIMALS. THE CENTER OPERATES A SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARY HOSPITAL AND A BOARDING FACILITY FOR THE CARE OF DOGS, CATS AND EXOTICS.
