PUBLICATIONS - THE ACADEMY PUBLISHES FOUR ISSUES OF THE "ACADEMY TODAY AND THE "JOURNAL OF PROSTHETICS AND ORTHOTICS", BOTH OF WHICH ARE USED TO DISSEMINATE INFORMATION ON ISSUES AND CONCERNS RELATING TO THE FIELD OF ORTHOTICS AND PROSTHETICS TO THE MEMBERS. THE ACADEMY ALSO HAS A LIBRARY OF OTHER PUBLICATIONS THAT ARE SOLD TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS.
ANNUAL MEETING - THE 49TH ANNUAL MEETING WAS HELD IN NASHVILLE IN MARCH AND WAS ATTENDED BY 1,776 INDIVIDUALS. THE MEETING INCLUDED EDUCATIONAL COURSES ON CURRENT RESEARCH TOPICS AND ISSUES RELATED TO THE FIELD OF PROSTHETICS AND ORTHOTICS.
