PROMOTE, ASSIST, AND TRAIN MEMBER RESCUE SQUADS IN PROVIDING PRE-HOSPITAL EMERGENCY CARE INCLUDING A RESCUE COLLEGE WHERE MANY INSTRUCTOR CLASSES ARE OFFERED AND AN ANNUAL CONVENTION WHERE MEMBERS LEARN NEW TECHNIQUES THROUGH MEDICAL SEMINARS, ENJOY RESCUE COMPETITIONS AND PARTICIPATE IN OTHER EMERGENCY SERVICES RELATED ACTIVITIES.
VAVRS PROVIDES MEMBERS WITH ACCESS TO EMERGENCY SERVICES INFORMATION AND CLASSES, ACCESS TO A DEATH BENEFIT PLAN TO RENDER FINANCIAL AID TO THE BENEFICIARY AND IMMEDIATE FAMILY OF ANY MEMBER WHO IS IN GOOD STANDING AS A MEMBER OF THE PLAN AT THE TIME OF THEIR DEATH AND ASSIST IN PROMOTING RELATIONSHIPS WITH OTHER MEMBER SQUADS OF THE ORGANIZATION.
