BALTIMORE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION'S MISSION IS TO INSPIRE DONORS TO ACHIEVE THEIR CHARITABLE GOALS
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
DONOR-ADVISED GRANTS: BCF PROVIDES PROFESSIONAL GRANTMAKING SERVICES AND ADMINISTRATION OF DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS, WHICH ALLOW INDIVIDUAL AND CORPORATE DONORS TO RECOMMEND GRANTS TO NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS OF THEIR CHOICE. BCF HAS 447 DONOR-ADVISED FUNDS RANGING IN SIZE FROM $10,000 TO $25,000,000. BCF ENCOURAGES PHILANTHROPY BY PROVIDING THIS CONVENIENT VEHICLE FOR DONORS TO ACHIEVE THEIR CHARITABLE OBJECTIVES. BCF WELCOMES THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTNER WITH DONORS WHO WANT TO BE ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN GRANTMAKING.
CIVIC LEADERSHIP: BCF ADDRESSES COMMUNITY ISSUES USING GRANTS, PROGRAM INITIATIVES AND ADVOCACY. CURRENT PRIORITIES FOR THESE EFFORTS ARE EDUCATION AND NEIGHBORHOODS. BCF WORKS WITH PARTNERS FROM THE PUBLIC, PRIVATE AND NONPROFIT SECTORS TO ACHIEVE ITS CIVIC LEADERSHIP GOALS, AND OFFERS DONORS THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN AND GIVE TOGETHER TO MAKE BALTIMORE BETTER.
