SAN DIEGUITO AMERICAN LEGION POST 416S 600 MEMBERS DOCUMENTED OVER 25,000 HOURS OF COMMUNITY SERVICES TO OUR ACTIVE DUTY VETERANS AND THEIR FAMILIES IN SAN DIEGO COUNTY PROVIDING MULTIPLE VISITS TO THE VA HOSPITAL, BALBOA NAVAL MEDICAL CENTER AND COUNTY VETERANS HOMES. LEGION BASEBALL EXPANDED IN THE STATE AND SPECIFICALLY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DUE TO THE EFFORTS OF POST 416. -- HELD ALL STANDARD EVENTS INCLUDING MEMORIAL DAY, 4TH OF JULY, VETERANS DAY, MARINE CORPS BIRTHDAY, EDUCATING THE LOCAL COMMUNITY IN CIVICS, HISTORY, AND TO MORE FULLY UNDERSTAND THE SACRIFICES MADE BY HUNDREDS OF THEIR LOCAL NEIGHBORS AND FRIENDS.
