THE ORGANIZATION'S PURPOSE IS THE PRESERVATION, PERPETUATION, AND PROMOTION OF THE STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN HORSE AS THE PREMIER SOURCE OF CLASSIC ARABIAN TYPE IN THE WORLD. AS A LEADER OF AN INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY OF BREEDERS AND OWNERS, THE PYRAMID SOCIETY STRIVES TO UNITE ITS MEMBERS IN THE BREEDING OF SUPERIOR QUALITY STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN HORSES AND TO ENCOURAGE THE USE OF THEIR BLOOD AS A SOURCE OF THE CLASSIC REFINEMENT NECESSARY FOR THE ARABIAN BREED AT LARGE.

THE SOCIETY HELD THE EGYPTIAN ARABIAN FESTIVAL IN ST. LOUIS TO PROMOTE AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN. THE FESTIVAL PROVIDED OUTREACH TO THE PUBLIC WITH EDUCATION ABOUT AND PROMOTION OF THE STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN HORSE. IT ALSO PROVIDED MEMBERS WITH A SHOWCASE TO EXHIBIT TO THE PUBLIC THEIR FARMS AND HORSES WITHOUT COMPETITION. A BROAD BASED EQUINE ORIENTED SEMINAR WAS ALSO INCLUDED FOLLOWED BY A SOCIAL FOR ALL ATTENDEES AND THE PUBLIC.
THE SOCIETY CONDUCTED A HORSE SHOW CALLED THE EGYPTIAN EVENT HOSTED AT A SHARED FACILITY IN VIRGINIA WITH THE EAST COAST CHAMPIONSHIPS. THIS HORSE SHOW PROMOTES THE EGYPTIAN ARABIAN HORSE, INCLUDED EDUCATION ABOUT THE EGYPTIAN ARABIAN HORSE, COMPETITION AND A STALLION SHOWCASE.
THE ORGANIZATION PRODUCES A STUDBOOK OF STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN HORSES WHICH IS THE OFFICIAL SOURCE OF WHAT IS A STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN HORSE WORLDWIDE. TO THAT END CERTIFICATION OF A HORSE AS STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN IS OFFERED BY THE SOCIETY. WE ALSO PUBLISH THE REFERENCE HANDBOOK OF STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN HORSES WHICH IS A DISTINCT HISTORICAL LANDMARK FOR STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN BREEDERS WORLDWIDE. WE ALSO PUBLISH THE STANDARD OF EXCELLENCE AND MANY OTHER PUBLICATIONS TO USE AS TOOLS FOR EDUCATION ABOUT THE STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN BREED.
