WE HELP RUN THE ODD FELLOWS AND REBEKAH CHILDREN'S HOME DBA REBEKAH CHILDREN'S SERVICES IN GILROY CA.WITH BRANCHES IN SAN JOSE, & HOLLISTER. WE HAVE SEVERAL MEMBERS WHO ARE ON THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS, AS DIRECTOR & TREASURER THAT SERVE IN A VOLUNTEERS. WE ALSO HELP RUN THE COUNTRY STORE THAT IS A SHOPPING SERVICE FOR THE RESIDENT'S OF THE SARATOGA RETIREMENT ASSISTED LIVING AND SNIF THAT MOSTLY BUYS PERSONAL HYGIENE PRODUCTS (DEPENDS). AS A LODGE WE ALLOW NON- PROFIT GROUPS IN THE MOUNTAIN VIEW AREA TO HOLD EVENTS AT OUR STORE-FRONT BUILDING ON THE CORNER OF CASTRO & VILLA ST. WE ALSO SPONSOR FUND-RAISERS FOR NON-PROFIT CIVIC GROUPS IN THE MOUNTAIN VIEW AREA. OUR DUTY IS TO BURY THE DEAD, VISIT THE SICK, HELP THE DISTRESSED AND EDUCATE THE ORPHEN AS WE ARE FRATRTNAL TO OUR FELLOW MAN.
DONATION TO THE REBEKAH CHILDREN'S SERVICES CHRISTMAS FUND DRIVE, OUR MEMBERS NOT ONLY ATTENDED THE EVENT BUT PAID FOR THEIR OWN TICKETS AND DONATED OVER $2,500 OF THEIR OWN FUNDS.
