THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS IS A WORLDWIDE FELLOWSHIP OF PERSONS UNITED IN A COMMON PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING CHRISTIAN PERSONALITY AND BUILDING A SOCIETY CENTERED AROUND CHRISTIAN VALUES. THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS #2433, IN HARMONY WITH THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS NATIONAL PURPOSE, PERCEIVES ITSELF AS A CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP DEDICATED TO IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES WHICH PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE TO REACH THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL, DEVELOP A POSITIVE ATTITUDE OF SELF AND OTHERS, ACQUIRE A VALUE SYSTEM AND MAINTAIN A SPIRITUAL AWARENESS THAT MANIFESTS ITSELF IN OUR DAILY LIVES.THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS #2433'S PURPOSE IS TO DEVELOP AND/OR IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS AIMED AT BUILDING CHARACTER AND MORAL RICHNESS FOR EVERY MEMBER OF OUR COMMUNITY. BIG BUCK CONTEST - OUR COUNCIL HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONTEST, WHEREBY PARTICIPANTS COMPETE TO SEE WHO KILLS THE HIGHEST RATED BUCK DURING DEER SEASON. ENTRY FEES ARE CHARGED TO THE PARTICIPANTS AND TWO BENEFIT SUPPERS ARE HELD TO COMMEMORATE THE BEGINNING AND THE END OF THE CONTEST. FUNDS RAISED IN EXCESS OF EXPENSES ARE USED BY OR DONATED TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501 C OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND ITS REGULATIONS.


FALL FESTIVAL - OUR COUNCIL HOLDS AN ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL TO PROMOTE GOODWILL BETWEEN COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND TO AID IN THE STRENGTHENING OF FAMILY LIFE. FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CONCESSION STANDS AND FUNDRAISER DINNERS ARE CONDUCTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ACTIVITY. FUNDS RAISED IN EXCESS OF EXPENSES ARE USED OR DONATED TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501 C OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND ITS REGULATIONS.
