BIG BUCK CONTEST - OUR COUNCIL HOLDS AN ANNUAL CONTEST, WHEREBY PARTICIPANTS COMPETE TO SEE WHO KILLS THE HIGHEST RATED BUCK DURING DEER SEASON. ENTRY FEES ARE CHARGED TO THE PARTICIPANTS AND TWO BENEFIT SUPPERS ARE HELD TO COMMEMORATE THE BEGINNING AND THE END OF THE CONTEST. FUNDS RAISED IN EXCESS OF EXPENSES ARE USED BY OR DONATED TO ORGANIZATIONS THAT QUALIFY AS EXEMPT ORGANIZATIONS UNDER SECTION 501 C OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE AND ITS REGULATIONS.
FALL FESTIVAL - OUR COUNCIL HOLDS AN ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL TO PROMOTE GOODWILL BETWEEN COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND TO AID IN THE STRENGTHENING OF FAMILY LIFE. FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CONCESSION STANDS AND FUNDRAISER DINNERS ARE CONDUCTED IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE ACTIVITY.
