Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
SCHOLARSHIPS -TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO CARL SANDBURG COLLEGE (SANDBURG) STUDENTS. FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS WERE AWARDED BASED ON GENERAL NEED AND/OR ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS. SCHOLARSHIPS ARE APPLIED TO THE STUDENT ACCOUNTS AT SANDBURG. SCHOLARSHIP AWARDS ARE DIVIDED EQUALLY BETWEEN THE FALL AND SPRING SEMESTERS.
MINI-GRANTS - PREFERENCE IS GIVEN TO ONE-TIME PROJECTS AND EQUIPMENT REQUESTS THAT DIRECTLY IMPACT A LARGE NUMBER OF PERSONS, PARTICULARLY STUDENTS. NEED, MEASURABLE OUTCOMES, AND LIKELIHOOD OF SUCCESS ARE IMPORTANT FACTORS. ORGANIZED SANDBURG STUDENT GROUPS, FACULTY, STAFF AND INSTUCTIONAL DEPARTMENTS OF SANDBURG MAY SUBMIT APPLICATIONS.
