THE ASSOCIATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO REVIEW PLANS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF HOMES, COMMERCIAL BUILDINGS, SWIMMING POOLS, ETC., TO ENSURE THAT THE QUALITY AND SAFETY OF THE CONSTRUCTION COMPLY WITH DEED RESTRICTIONS. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO SPONSORS VARIOUS SEMINARS, INCLUDING HURRICANE PREPAREDNESS, AND ISSUES A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER ON ITEMS OF GENERAL INTEREST TO THE RESIDENTS OF MARCO ISLAND. THE ASSOCIATION IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF ONE BEACH AND TWO BEACH PARKING LOT FACILITIES FOR THE MARCO ISLAND RESIDENTS.
