THE INTENSIVE TREATMENT PROGRAM (ITP) IS A SHORT-TERM COMPONENT, PROVIDING CLIENTS WITH A FOUNDATION FOR RECOVERY. IT IS DESIGNED FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HAD NO PREVIOUS RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT, AND FOR THOSE WHO HAVE HAD MULTIPLE TREATMENTS WITH NO CONTINUED RECOVERY. THE HALFWAY HOUSE IS A LONG-TERM RESIDENTIAL FACILITY FOR SUBSTANCE ABUSE TREATMENT. CLIENTS ADMITTED TO THE HALFWAY HOUSE HAVE RECENTLY COMPLETED A SHORT-TERM REHABILITATION PROGRAM AND/OR HAVE A HISTORY OF SIGNIFICANT PERIODS OF RECOVERY.
