UNIVERSITY ASCE STUDENT CHAPTER SUPPORT- THE VIRGINIA SECTION PROVIDES FINANCIAL AND IN-PERSON SUPPORT FOR THE FIVE ASCE STUDENT CHAPTERS WITHIN THEIR BOUNDARIES. SUPPORT IS PROVIDED THROUGH SCHOLARSHIPS, TECHNICAL PRESENTATIONS, VIRGINIAS STUDENT SYMPOSIUM (VSS), CASH AWARDS AND AWARD PLAQUES DURING THE VSS, AND STUDENT CHAPTER MEETINGS.
OTHER PROGRAM SERVICES
THE EASTERN REGION YOUNGER MEMBER COUNCIL (ERYMC) CONFERENCE PROVIDED ESSENTIAL TRAINING AND SUPPORT FOR ASCE LEADERS. THE EVENT LASTED FOUR DAYS AND HAD MORE THE 5 VENUES. TOTAL ATTENDANCE FOR FOUR ERYMC SOCIAL EVENTS WAS 593. ERYMC ALSO PAID FOR THE LEADERSHIP TRAINING VENUES (350 PEOPLE).
