THE AFT-LOCAL 1839 IS A FOUNDING MEMBER AND ACTIVELY INVOLVED IN ALL THE ACTIVITIES OF THE COUNCIL OF NEW JERSEY STATE COLLEGE LOCALS, PARTICIPATING IN UNION NEGOTIATIONS IN FULL-TIME/PART-TIME AGREEMENTS AND THE ADJUNCT FACULTY AGREEMENTS.
