PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAMS ARE CONDUCTED PRIMARILY IN THE MORNING WITH SOME EXTENDING INTO EARLY AFTERNOON. 2 DAY, 3 DAY, 5 DAY PROGRAMS ARE OFFERED. ACTIVITIES TYPICALLY INCLUDE PLAYTIME WITH MANIPULATIVES, CIRCLE TIME, CALENDAR, CREATIVE PLAY, INDIVIDUAL AND SMALL GROUP ACTIVITIES, STORY TIME, SCIENCE AND MATH ACTIVITIES, DRAMATIC PLAY, MUSIC, ART, FINE AND GROSS MOTOR ACTIVITIES, AND OUTDOOR PLAY. TEACHERS ENCOURAGE CREATIVITY, INDEPENDENCE AND CURIOSITY TO DEVELOP CONFIDENCE IN EACH CHILD. A HEALTHY SNACK IS ALSO PROVIDED. THE AFTERNOON PROGRAM IS CALLED "LUNCH BUNCH AND OPERATES AS AN EXTENSION OF THE PRESCHOOL SESSION BUT WITH MORE FOCUS ON SOCIAL/EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT.
