THE ORGANIZATION PROMOTES THE QUALITY OF LIFE, LEARNING, AND CARE OF YOUNG CHILDREN THROUGH LEADERSHIP, ADVOCACY, AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF ITS MEMBERS. THE FLORIDA ASSOCIATION FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG CHILDREN'S 3,000 MEMBERS SERVE IN ALL LEVELS OF EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION, WORKING DIRECTLY WITH THOUSANDS OF FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN BIRTH TO AGE EIGHT, AS WELL AS THE HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE LEVEL TRAINING TEACHERS.
