ACHIEVE AND PERPETUATE PROTECTION OF NATURAL LANDS AND WATERS VIA PUBLIC OWNERSHIP LEGISLATION OR COOPERATION WITH THE PRIVATE SECTOR. WHILE OUR FIRST FOCUS IS ON THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU AND APPALACHIAN REGIONS OF TENNESSEE OUR EFFORTS EXTEND TO THE REST OF THE STATE AND NATION.

PUBLISHED AND DISTRIBUTED 6 ISSUES OF TCWP NEWSLETTER [ISSN 1089-6401] TYPICALLY > 15 PP SENT TO TYPICALLY MORE THAN 500 ADDRESSES OF MEMBERS APPROXIMATELY 270 DUES-PAID INDIVIDUALS AND INTERESTED OTHERS. OF THOSE SENT 25% WERE VIA E-MAIL TO REQUESTERS OF SAME. ABOUT 20% OF THE PRINTED COPIES WERE USED AS HAND-OUTS AT PUBLIC MEETINGS.
