THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN SECTION OF THE AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION IS DEDICATED TO CARRYING OUT THE MISSION OF AMERICAN WATER WORK ASSOCIATION, EMPHASIZING AREAS OF INTEREST TO THE WATER INDUSTRY, SUCH AS EDUCATION, DISSEMINATION OF INFORMATION, AND INFLUENCING WATER-RELATED ISSUES.

THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN SECTION CONDUCTS AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE IN THE FALL OF EACH YEAR IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN WATER ENVIRONMENT ASSOCIATION. THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE BRINGS TOGETHER WATER PROFESSIONALS AND INDUSTRY EXHIBITORS FOR THREE DAYS OF KNOWLEDGE SHARING AND INFORMATION EXCHANGE ON CURRENT AND EMERGING TOPICS IN THE WATER INDUSTRY.
THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN SECTION SERVES AS A LOCAL DELIVERY SYSTEM FOR GRANTS RECEIVED BY THE AMERICAN WATER WORKS ASSOCIATION AND FOR EDUCATION PROGRAMS SPONSORED BY THE AWWA.
