THE AGENCY HAS TWO OBJECTIVES: TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY SERVICES FOR THE ECONOMICALLY POOR, AND TO ASSIST AND ENCOURAGE MEMBERS OF THE POVERTY COMMUNITY IN BECOMING INDEPENDENT, SELF-SUFFICIENT, AND CONTRIBUTING MEMBERS OF SOCIETY.
