ANIMAL SHELTER AND PET ADOPTION CENTER. PROVIDE DAILY CARE AND FEEDING OF ANIMALS. DOGS AND CATS ARE HOUSED IN AIR CONDITIONED BUILDINGS. PRIOR TO ADOPTION ALL ANIMALS ARE GIVEN A HEALTH CHECK BY A LICENSED VETERINARIAN, ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED, HAVE RECEIVED FULL VACCINATIONS, HAVE BEEN GIVEN THEIR RABIES SHOT AND ARE MICROCHIPPED. ALL ANIMALS ARE ON MONTHLY HEARTWORM AND FLEA PREVENTATIVE AND ARE DE-WORMED. CATS ARE FIV/FELV NEGATIVE AND DOGS ARE TESTED AND TREATED FOR HEARTWORM INFECTION, MAKING THEM HW NEGATIVE PRIOR TO ADOPTION. DURING 2022, 237 ANIMALS WERE ADOPTED FROM THE SHELTER.
