THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES ITS MEMBERSHIP VALUABLE PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CONTINUING UPDATES OF CHANGING INDUSTRY PRACTICES AND REGULATIONS. THE MAJORITY OF THE MEMBERSHIP BENEFITED FROM THE FOLLOWING ASSOCIATION PROGRAM FUNCTIONS: EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS, PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS, AND TRAINING PROGRAMS ON INDUSTRY FUNCTIONS SUCH AS SOFTWARE FOR QUOTES. STAFF FROM APPROXIMATELY 300 MEMBER COMPANIES ATTENDED THESE PROGRAMS.
THE ASSOCIATION PROVIDES A MEANS OF COOPERATION BETWEEN COMPETITORS FOR MUTUAL SELF INTERESTS SUCCESSFULLY CONNECTING REPRESENTATIVE AGENTS AND MANUFACTURERS SINCE 1949 THROUGH NATIONAL AND LOCAL NETWORKS AND MEETINGS, CONFERENCES, AND TRADE SHOWS. THIS PROVIDES MEMBERS THE OPPORTUNITY TO KNOW THEIR BUSINESS ASSOCIATES, GAIN THEIR FRIENDSHIP, AND RESPECT AND OFFER A MEDIUM OF EXCHANGE WITH OTHERS HAVING SIMILAR BUSINESS SUCCESSES AND STRUGGLES.
THE ASSOCIATION MAKES ALL MEMBERS VISIBLE BY MAKING AVAILABLE TO THE MEMBERSHIP AN ONLINE, STREAMLINED, SEARCHABLE DATABASE OF THE MEMBERS WHICH INCLUDES INDUSTRY SALES REPRESENTATIVE COMPANIES AND MANUFACTURING COMPANIES. THE ASSOCIATION ALSO MAKES AVAILABLE TO MEMBERS AN ONLINE RESOURCE LIBRARY WHICH INCLUDES SURVEY RESULTS, INDUSTRY STATISTICS, QUARTERLY SALES ANALYSIS, AND VARIOUS OTHER IMPERATIVE RESOURCES THAT PREPARE OUR MEMBER AGENTS TO ENTER AND MAINTAIN VIABILITY AND RELEVANCE IN THE INDUSTRY MARKET.
