Part 3 - Line 4a

THE PHILADELPHIA CURLING CLUB'S EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE SPORT OF CURLING BY PROVIDING A QUALITY CURLING FACILITY AND VARIOUS TEACHING PROGRAMS FOR CURLING. DUE TO THE PANDEMIC, WE WERE CLOSED FOR THE CURLING SEASON IN 2020-2021. WE HAD A SUCCESSFUL CURLING CLASS AND PARTICIPATED IN UNIVERSITY CURLING, COMPETITIVE JUNIORS, JUNIORS AND THE LITTLE ROCKERS STARTING IN OCT 2022. WE SHOWED THE REVENUE WE GOT FROM THE CURLING CLASS AND CORPORATE EVENTS, EVEN THOUGH THESE WERE RUN BY VOLUNTEERS FROM THE CLUB AND NOT RENTALS. WE SUPPLIED ALL THE EQUIPMENT NEEDED FOR BOTH THE CURLING CLASS AND CORPORATE EVENTS. WE DID NOT FILE A FORM 990T AS THIS IS A NEW FORM TO US. OUR REPAIR & MAINTENANCE EXPENDITURES ARE FOR THE CURLING AT THE CLUB.
