ZHANG SAH PROVIDES ENGAGING, IMPACTFUL AND PROFESSIONAL AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING YEAR-ROUND FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES K-8 DEVELOPING THE MIND, BODY, AND CHARACTER AT COMMUNITY BASED SITES WE CURRENTLY OPERATE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING AT 7 SCHOOL DISTRICT BUILDINGS AND OUR COMMUNITY BASED CENTER FUNDED THROUGH THE SCHOOL DISTRICT OF PHILADELPHIA . CHILDREN ARRIVE AT OUR PROGRAMMING BY WALKING ESCORT, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING DAILY DISMISSAL FROM SCHOOL. AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM ACTIVITIES INCLUDE MARTIAL ARTS CLASSES, A NUTRITIOUS SNACK, INDOOR & OUTDOOR FREE PLAY, HOMEWORK TIME, SPORTS, VARIOUS CLUBS, ARTS AND CRAFTS, AND PROJECT BASED LEARNING THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE PROGRAMMATIC INVENTORY OFFERS BOTH PROGRESSIVE MATRICULATING MARTIAL ARTS CURRICULA AND EFFECTIVE CROSS-TRAINING ADJUNCTS FOR CHILDREN AGED 3 TO ADULTS.
ZHANG SAH PROVIDES FOR 8 PHL PRE-K CLASSES SERVING 80 CHILDREN THROUGH OUR PARTNERSHIP WITH PHILADELPHIA'S OFFICE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES WHICH IS ADMINISTERED BY PHMC. THEY PROVIDE THE HIGHEST QUALITY, CHILD-CENTERED, AND CREATIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENTS COMBINED WITH A UNIQUE MARTIAL ARTS CURRICULUM FOSTERING COGNITIVE, SOCIAL, AND PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT. EACH PRE-K CLASS IMPLEMENTS THE CREATIVE CURRICULUM, ONE OF THE MOST WIDELY USED PRE-K CURRICULUM IN THE NATION. IT'S COMPREHENSIVE AND RESEARCH-BASED. IN ADDITION, THROUGH THE OFFICE OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES ADMINISTERED BY PHMC ZHANG SAH OPERATES ADDITIONAL OUT OF SCHOOL TIME PROGRAMMING AT 4 ADDITIONAL SCHOOLS AND ONE OF OUR THREE ZHANG SAH COMMUNITY BASED SITES.
