PRESERVATION MIFFLINBURG, INC.IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION LOCATED IN MIFFLINBURG, PA. PRESERVATION MIFFLINBURG, INC. WAS FORMED TO ACQUIRE AND PRESERVE HISTORICAL LAND AND BUILDINGS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL ENRICHMENT TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC REGARDING THE UNIQUE HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT OF MIFFLINBURG. IN 1998 THE ORGANIZATION ACQUIRED THE GUTELIUS LOG HOUSE CIRCA 1803 WHICH IS CURRENTLY BEING RESTORED TO BE OPENED INTO A MUSEUM IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE ORGANIZATION IS SUPPORTED PRIMARILY THROUGH DONOR CONTRIBUTIONS, BEQUESTS AND GRANTS. MEMBERSHIPS, AUXILIARY ACTIVITIES AND OTHER FUNDRAISING ACTIVITIES ALSO PROVIDE SIGNIFICANT SUPPORT DURING THE RESTORATION PROCESS. THERE ARE CURRENTLY 74 MEMBERS. VOLUNTEERS CONTRIBUTED OVER 400 HOURS OF SERVICE DURING THE YEAR.
