TO ENCOURAGE THE EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS, EDUCATIONAL LOANS AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE HIGHER EDUCATION OF DESERVING GRADUATES OF THE LAMPETER-STRASBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT. TO PROMOTE, ENHANCE AND ENCOURAGE SCHOLASTIC ACHIEVEMENT BY STUDENTS OF THE LAMPETER-STRASBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT FROM GRADE SCHOOL THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL AND BEYOND BY RECOGNIZING AND REWARDING OUTSTANDING PERFORMANCE IN VARIOUS ACADEMIC SUBJECTS AND DISCIPLINES.

FOR THE CURRENT YEAR, 6 NEW EDUCATIONAL LOANS OF 3,000 EACH AND 12 ADDITIONAL INSTALLMENTS OF EDUCATIONAL LOANS TOTALING 33,000 WERE MADE FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. 13 SCHOLARSHIPS WERE GRANTED IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF 16,500. AT JUNE 30, 2022, THERE IS A TOTAL 51 LOANS OF 2,500 EACH AND 18 LOANS OF 3,000 EACH GRANTED TO 29 STUDENTS.
