THE PURPOSES OF THE CORPORATION ARE TO PROMOTE THE ECONOMIC AND GENERAL WELFARE OF MORRISVILLE BOROUGH, PENNSYLVANIA BY SECURING NEW INDUSTRIES, BUSINESS, AND COMMERCE FOR THE VARIOUS MORRISVILLE BOROUGH NEIGHBORHOODS; THE PROMOTION, GROWTH AND EXPANSION OF INDUSTRIES ESTABLISHED IN MORRISVILLE BOROUGH; THE DEVELOPMENT AND CREATION OF MORE INDUSTRIAL JOBS AND LARGER INDUSTRIAL PAYROLLS THROUGH THE ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT OF SITES AND THE ERECTION OF INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS FOR NEW INDUSTRIES AND DISTRIBUTION ESTABLISHMENTS; ASSISTANCE, ENCOURAGEMENT AND PROMOTION OF APPROPRIATE PROPOSED OR PROJECTED INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENTS IN MORRISVILLE BOROUGH AND PROJECTS THAT WILL INCREASE THE FLOW OF WAGES AND INCOME INTO THE CHANNELS OF TRADE AND COMMERCE; THE ASSEMBLAGE AND DISSEMINATION OF COMMERCIAL AND ECONOMIC INFORMATION CONCERNING THE EXPANSION; AND ENCOURAGEMENT OF APPROPRIATE NEW HOUSING DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVED HOUSING CONDITIONS, WHILE PRESERVING THE QUALITY OF THE BOROUGH'S RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOODS. FOR THESE PURPOSES, THE CORPORATION SHALL HAVE THE RIGHT TO PURCHASE, OWN, LEASE, MORTGAGE, MANAGE, SELL, RENOVATE, REPAIR AND IMPROVE LAND AND BUILDINGS OR ANY INTEREST THEREIN AND TO CONSTRUCT NEW BUILDINGS, AND, IN GENERAL TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY, INCIDENTAL AND PROPER FOR ACCOMPLISHING SAID PURPOSES, INCLUDING THE BORROWING AND LENDING OF MONEY.
