LICENSED IN 1991, THIS 59 BED SKILLED NURSING UNIT PROVIDES COMPASSIONATE, LOVING CARE TO THE MOST FRAIL OF OUR POPULATION. OUR FACILITY USES A MULTI-DISCIPLINARY APPROACH TO HEALTH CARE INCLUDING: NURSING, SOCIAL SERVICES, PHYSICAL THERAPY, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, SPEECH THERAPY, PASTORAL CARE, NUTRITION THERAPY, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPITE CARE. ALL OF THESE AREAS WORK TOGETHER TO ENSURE THE BEST POSSIBLE CARE FOR OUR RESIDENTS. OUR 92 BED PERSONAL CARE FACILITY WAS LICENSED IN 2005. LICENSED NURSING STAFF IS AVAILABLE TO ASSIST WITH ACTIVITIES OF DAILY LIVING AND WITH MEDICATIONS. BOTH FACILITIES ON AVERAGE CARED FOR 176 RESIDENTS ANNUALLY. CONTINUED ON "SCHEDULE O".MERCY CENTER PROVIDES CARE TO SIGNIFICANT ELDERLY POPULATION IN FINANCIAL NEED. ON AVERAGE, 62% OF OUR SKILLED NURSING CENSUS ARE RESIDENTS ON MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. IN ADDITION, 8% OF OUR PERSONAL CARE CENSUS ARE RESIDENTS RECEIVING THE SSI BENEFIT. THE SSI RESIDENTS PAY APPROXIMATELY 35% OF THE PUBLISHED PRIVATE PAY RATE.
