THE CHESTER COUNTY 4-H FAIR WAS HELD IN AUGUST 2023 AT THE ROMANO 4-H CENTER IN HONEY BROOK, PA. THE FAIR IS A SERIES OF SHOWS AND EXHIBITS TO SHOWCASE THE WORK OF THE 4-H MEMBERS THROUGH THE YEAR. A LIVESTOCK AUCTION EVENT WAS HELD AND 4-H PARTICIPANTS SOLD THEIR LIVESTOCK TO BIDDERS. COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH RUNNING THE 4-H FAIR WERE DEDUCTED FROM THE PROCEEDS. THIS EVENT HAD PREVIOUSLY BEEN OPERATED BY THE 4-H PENNSTATE EXTENSION IN UNIVERSITY PARK, PA, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 2020 DURING THE COVID EPIDEMIC.
TO RAISE FUNDS AND PROVIDE A PHYSICAL LOCATION FOR ALL 4-H ACTIVITIES IN CHESTER COUNTY, PA. THE FACILITY IS USED FOR EDUCATION, CIVIL AND OTHER STATED PURPOSES AS PART OF THE 4-H PROGRAM CONDUCTED BY THE CHESTER COUNTY CORPORATE EXTENSION SERVICE OF THE COMMONWEALTH OF PA.
