PLOWSHARE FARM, INC. IS A RESIDENTIAL COMMUNITY PROVIDING CARE FOR ADULTS WITH MENTAL AND PHYSICAL DISABILITIES IN A HOME ENVIRONMENT. THE GOAL OF THE CARE PROVIDED IS TO HELP RESIDENTS DEVELOP INTERPERSONAL SKILLS BY PARTICIPATING IN A FAMILY STRUCTURE; SOCIALLY, CULTURALLY AND SPIRITUALLY. THERAPEUTIC SERVICES ARE PROVIDED TO RESIDENTS INCLUDING SERVICES TO FOSTER THE DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN SKILLS ENABLING THE INDIVIDUAL TO LEAD A FULLER AND MORE PRODUCTIVE LIFE AS A USEFUL MEMBER OF THE COMMUNITY.

THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES DAY PROGRAMS, RETREATS AND CLASS TRIPS FOR SPECIAL NEEDS ADULTS. MOST RECENTLY WE HAVE OPENED A SMALL STORE FRONT IN THE COMMUNITY TO GIVE THE RESIDENTS A PLACE TO WORK IN THE COMMUNITY AND TO ASSIST WITH ADDITIONAL COMMUNITY SUPPORT
